As soon as you agree to sell your car to a buyer you will arrange a date for collection. No buyers will be able to pay you in physical cash. Instead you will be paid via a secure bank transfer. The majority of buyers offer same day payment and it's only when the funds are in your account that your car leaves your drive. This gives you complete peace of mind.

Yes. When you agree to sell to a buyer you will arrange a collection date. The buyer will come and collect your car and is usually free of charge, from wherever you want. So, it could be from home, from work or even at a family member's house. The buyer will either come in person or have it collected via a vehicle collection company. Remember, your car will not leave your drive until the total amount of funds have been deposited into your bank account.

No. There are absolutely no fees or charges associated with this service.

All we require is:

1. The Number Plate (VRM)
2. Current Mileage (Odometer Reading)
3. Service History - full or part, main-dealer or private garage.
4. Answer some questions about the condition of the car.
5. Some photos of your car or use your smartphone's camera.
6. Your phone number and email so potential buyers can get in touch.

To use the service you will need to tell us your name, telephone number, email address and postcode. Your details will be held and used in accordance with GDPR. Motorway require these details to get in touch with you about your sale, including the highest price they've found from their network of dealers. Once you have accepted an offer from a dealer, Motorway will pass your details on to them. They can then get in touch with you to arrange collection and payment. Always remember, you are under no obligation to sell your car at any point.

By showcasing your car to thousands of potential buyers and knowing the best offers you're sure to get the best possible price. Buying and selling cars is a question of deals and we think that there should always be a fair deal between buyers and sellers.

All potential buyers on the Motorway network must sign up to a code of conduct. All buyers are continually vetted to ensure that they give the same high levels of service that we all expect. If they fall short of this level of service then they are removed from the trusted network.
